Safety & boundaries
Where we stop is as important as where we start.
Most of the harm in this category comes from blurred lines — sellers who imply they're a clinic, labels that imply a diagnosis, vials that imply a prescription. Peppies draws the lines in daylight. Here is exactly what we are, and exactly what we are not.
Peppies does not prescribe, diagnose, or replace a doctor. Research products are supplied for research use only to verified professional accounts; consumer cosmetics are the only open lane. Nothing on Peppies is medical advice.
Nine lines we don't cross.
No fine print, no asterisks that take it back. Each line below is a promise about what Peppies will and won't do for you.
Peppies does not prescribe.
We don't write prescriptions, issue dosing instructions, or tell you how much of anything to take. Research products carry no usage directions for people — they are supplied for research use only, and they are not medicines or supplements. Anything that needs a prescription needs an independent qualified professional, not us.
Peppies does not diagnose.
The Passport, My Health Timeline, and your logged trends are tracking and education tools — not a diagnosis. A skin score is not a dermatology report; a weight trend is not a metabolic work-up. We help you measure and notice. We never tell you what condition you have, or that you don't have one.
Research products are supplied for research use only.
Peppies has two lanes. Consumer cosmetics are open to everyone. Research products are research-grade materials — not medicines, not supplements, and not approved for human or veterinary use — visible and purchasable only with a verified professional account, and never dressed up as anything else. By ordering them you confirm you are acquiring them for lawful research purposes and not for human consumption or administration. Every research product ships with its batch records — certificate of analysis and safety data sheet per lot.
How professional access works →Compendium items may be education or watchlist only.
The Compendium is a library, not a catalogue. Many profiles in it are there to be read and understood, not bought. A molecule appearing in the Compendium is never in itself an offer to sell it — where a compound is supplied at all, it is supplied as a research product to a verified professional account, and its product page shows that product's exact status. Look for the tier label on each profile, and assume education first.
See what every product status means →Nothing is sold as a medicine — and PUO is not a prescription.
Some compounds you'll read about are prescription-only medicines in their finished form, or still under investigation. Peppies never sells anything as a medicine: where such a compound is supplied at all, it is a research-use-only material for a verified professional account, per that product's exact status. PUO is a Peppies professional-access restriction — it is not regulatory approval, prescription status, pharmacy status or CE marking. Medicines belong with an independent qualified professional and a pharmacy, and you are responsible for making sure anything you obtain through Peppies is lawful where you are.
For medical questions, speak with an independent qualified professional.
If a question is about your health — what's safe for you, whether something interacts with your medication, what a result means — that question belongs with an independent qualified professional who can examine you. Our concierge, coaches, and content can point you toward good questions; they cannot answer the medical ones for you.
Tested athletes must check sports and anti-doping rules independently.
If you compete under WADA or any sport's anti-doping code, the responsibility to check every ingredient is yours, not ours. Some ingredients in the consumer cosmetics we sell — and many compounds in the Compendium — are prohibited in or out of competition. Verify every ingredient and every compound against your sport's current list, every season.
Results vary; nothing here is a guaranteed outcome.
The charts, testimonials, and example trends across the site show what some members logged — not what you will get. Bodies, baselines, adherence, and genetics differ. We promise an honest system and real support; we cannot promise a number on the scale or a date on the calendar.
No emergency support — for urgent symptoms, call your local emergency services.
Peppies is not a crisis line and is not monitored for emergencies. If you have urgent or severe symptoms — chest pain, trouble breathing, a severe allergic reaction, thoughts of harming yourself — stop and call your local emergency number or go to the nearest emergency department now. Come back to us afterward.
In an emergency, don't wait on us.
For urgent or severe symptoms, call your local emergency services or go to the nearest emergency department. Peppies cannot help in a medical emergency.
Private front. Full identity on scan. Emergency identity under peel-back.
The bottle on your shelf says almost nothing — a serif logotype, a glyph, a lot number. Point the app at the PepCode cap and the full product identity blooms for you alone. The peel-back layer under the label carries only what a first responder would need.
Read the science, then check the status.
The Compendium is where the boundaries get specific — every molecule read line by line, honest about the evidence and labelled by tier. For what can be supplied, to whom, and what each status badge means, the access and status pages spell it out.
Nothing on this page is medical advice. Speak with an independent qualified professional before making medical decisions, especially if pregnant, nursing, on medication, or a tested athlete. Peppies is for adults aged 18 and over.
